Originally from Rainy River, ON, Tara moved to Winnipeg after graduation in search of new opportunities. With a lifelong passion for creativity and design, she earned her diploma in Graphic & Website Design — a foundation that seamlessly transitioned into the world of optics. Tara later obtained both her Optician and Contact Lens Fitter licenses, combining technical skill with her signature eye for esthetics.

Tara’s enthusiasm for contact lenses is unmatched. She loves fitting everything from simple disposable lenses to the most specialized custom designs, always striving to help each patient see — and look — their very best. Her dedication to helping you find your perfect pair of glasses is truly one of a kind.

Outside of work: Tara enjoys camping adventures with her husband, daughters, and dogs. She’s also passionate about mentoring the next generation of opticians, running workshops and tutoring students in the field.
