Julie has been dreaming of optometry since middle school! Her journey began at age 15 shadowing Dr. E—after her very first exam, she knew it was her calling. A University of Manitoba grad, Julie is now a student at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. During breaks, she’s back at Eyeris as an ophthalmic technician, gaining hands-on experience from her mentors. When she’s not hitting the books, you’ll find Julie outdoors, baking, or learning a new language—always curious and always growing.
